Through strategic partnerships with Georgia Tech, Google, and other technology partners, Champions Place has successfully implemented a portfolio of assistive technologies that has enabled its residents to become more self-reliant. To be true to our mission, Champions Place Foundation has launched a new initiative called Champions Place@Home. The mission of Champions Place@Home will be to continue to apply the technology and best practices learned at Champions Place and to share them with our own Titan community.  And this offering is available at no cost to you!  Together, Champions Community Foundation and Google are covering the cost of the materials and installation of our core offering described below.

Through this new program, Champions Place@Home hopes to enable physically challenged individuals to increase their independence and self-reliance by performing various functions in their home using voice activation, mobile apps, and/or other adaptive technologies.

The core offering will enable users to perform many tasks independently via voice or app, including turning on and off lights, fans, and TVs; adjusting home thermostat; playing music or audiobooks; adjusting volume and even making hands-free video or voice calls to family, friends, or caregiver(s)
