Would you jump in sub-45-degree water?
Alpharetta Rotary and Howard smith plunged into sub 45 Degree water to raise funds for us RAISING $11,950! Thank you Howard.
What a way to end 2023 and launch 2024! We are overwhelmed by the support of our friends and partnerships throughout our community.
That's right! Our most valuable asset is our growing base of passionate volunteers.
Would you jump in sub-45-degree water in early February to support our physically challenged young adults? Maybe not?! Howard did.... We will come back to that in a minute!
Not everyone will jump in a freezing pool, but volunteers from our community partnerships love and support our young adults in so many ways.
To name a few more:
The National Charity League has filled our freezer at Champions Place all year long and helped host several social events!
Local Girl Scouts, neighbors and small groups have cooked meals; and the residents have eaten like royalty!
The Young Men’s Service League and Student Leadership Johns Creek have been the hands and feet to help keep our Titan scrimmages rolling at the Mount Pisgah Christian School gym.
Next Level Sports took care of all our decorating needs to make Champions Place sparkle its way through the holidays!
The Tech & Media class from Innovations Academy is partnering with us to produce videos capturing events and activities. Our IA friends are also working on plans for a 5K in the spring!
As part of Alpharetta Rotary’s efforts to support local charities, Howard participated in the 2024 Polar Plunge at Wills Park to benefit Champions Community Foundation.
You can still donate to Champions Place!
